I just wanted to let you know that we are an AGCI Vietnam family and are thinking about you and your beautiful baby boy. We know all too well how difficult the wait is, it was almost unbearable near the end of our wait time but we brought home our little girl in Feb. and life has been wonderful ever since. Our daughter at 12 months old was bearly learning to sit up. Her head was completely flat on one side from never getting off her back for 12 months. She wore 3-6 month clothes for 6 whole months after coming home. She has adjusted and grown and developed so fast it's unreal. She hasn't needed any extra help and is walking, talking, running and climbing everywhere! She was absolutely held by God the entire time she was in the orphanage and I'm saying this because I know your little boy is in the palm of His hand as well. Try to stay positive (I KNOW it's really hard!) Henry (Vietnam staff) is a WONDERFUL man! He cares deeply about the children and gives them the best physical care he can. He and his staff are absolutely the grestest people in the world. He is all about the children and that was totally aparent when we spent our three weeks with him in Vietnam. If you have any questions or feel like venting to someone who has been there send me an email! heo 23 0 7 at g mai l dot com
This blog started as our journey to bring our little boy home from Vietnam. Since he came home in January 2009 it has become a place for us to share what is happening in our ever crazy, always beautiful life. We love our little miracles and feel truly blessed to get to spend each day with them.
"AND HE TOOK THE CHILDREN IN HIS ARMS, PUT HIS HANDS ON THEM AND BLESSED THEM." MARK 10:16
Skylar is our princess. She was born in October 2007.
This is our handsome little man, Jordan. Born in January 2008. After much waiting and praying, he finally came home in January 2009.
Maci is our newest addition and such a blessing. She was born in July 2010.
